Supporting Israel's Soldiers
Terri's Angels is a 100% volunteer-run organization founded by cousins Terri Ackerman in New York and Yael Levy in Israel. We work in partnership with the Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center (SYJCC) to receive tax-deductible monetary donations to purchase critical supplies, equipment, meals, and support to Israeli soldiers and civilians in need.
There is ZERO overhead. Every donation goes directly toward helping those on the front lines.
From tactical equipment and emergency supplies to supporting Lone Soldiers, Terri's Angels is committed to making a direct impact where it is needed most.
A Look at What We Do
This video includes actual combat unit footage as well as personal messages from the commanders. They explain what Terri's Angels means to them and their unit, and how the support and love sustain them.

The Chai Center Blood Drive
Sunday, July 26
Volunteers from Terri's Angels will be helping at the blood drive. We will also have care bags and supplies available to be packed.
Come donate blood to support Israel's emergency services system. Then help pack a care bag for a soldier!
We'll be packing the supplies you've been donating for the last few weeks: hydration bladders, hydration backpacks, & electrolytes, multitools, Costco wicking shirts, "miracle" ointment,
Imagine serving 600 days as an army doctor—and taking the time to thank strangers thousands of miles away for sending exactly what you need.
Yael received a message forwarded from Dr. Barak, an army doctor who has served 400 days of miluim in the north and another 200 days in Gaza:
“My name is Dr. Barak. When I am not in the army, I am a doctor at Rambam Hospital. As an army doctor, we received many medical supplies, mainly from an organization called Terri’s Angels.
Among the supplies, we have a special need for tourniquets and triple antibiotic cream. Thank you so much for sending us exactly what is needed.”
Dr. Barak called the triple antibiotic ointment we sent last summer a “magical ointment” and said he wishes they had this exact one in hospitals, too.
Right now, a 4-pack of the exact ointment he requested is on sale for only $6.99. For less than the cost of lunch, you can send a much-needed medical supply directly into the hands of doctors caring for our soldiers.
Items that arrive by Monday (7/27) will be packed on Tuesday and sent to Israel with passengers on Wednesday and Thursday.
Every order matters. Each tube can help prevent infection and promote healing—but we’re sending much more than ointment. We’re also sending love, support, and a powerful reminder that our soldiers and medics are not alone
PLEASE include a personal gift message with your purchase. Your words of encouragement mean just as much as the supplies themselves. We aren't just sending electrolytes and hydration bladders—we're sending love, appreciation, and support to the brave men and women protecting Israel.
When a doctor who has spent 600 days caring for soldiers thanks us and tells us what he needs, we want to answer him: We hear you. We support you. We are with you.

For almost 3 years, one of the items IDF commanders have requested more than almost anything else has been multitools (often called "Leathermans"). Soldiers use these multitools every day for countless tasks, and many have told us they have even saved lives.
Since October 7, we've sent thousands of these WETOLS multitools. They are extremely well made and cost significantly less than comparable multitools available in Israel. For months, we've been checking Amazon, and they've consistently been priced at $25 or more—which was still an excellent value compared to comparable multitools in Israel.
We have no idea how long this sale will last. Amazon sales often end without warning, so if you've been thinking about helping, now is a great time. Even better, we have a volunteer willing to take an extra suitcase from JFK to Israel on July 29, so multitools and other donations that arrive by July 27 can be packed and sent on this trip.
Every multitool purchased helps equip another soldier with a tool they may rely on every single day. Thank you for helping us get these urgently needed items into the hands of Israel's heroes.

We have received many new requests from IDF commanders for kosher electrolyte tablets and powders to help prevent dehydration, as well as hydration backpacks and hydration bladders (shlookerim) for soldiers serving in the field.
The good news is that we have several passengers flying to Israel this month who have generously offered to bring these much-needed supplies in their luggage!
Every gift makes a difference. Even a $9 hydration bladder can help keep a soldier hydrated while serving in Israel's intense summer heat.
PLEASE include a personal gift message with your purchase. Your words of encouragement mean just as much as the supplies themselves. We aren't just sending electrolytes and hydration bladders—we're sending love, appreciation, and support to the brave men and women protecting Israel.
Thank you for helping us keep our soldiers healthy, hydrated, and reminded that they are never alone. Every item you purchase is deeply appreciated.

UPDATE!
DRONES
SAVE
LIVES!
YOU FUNDED THE REPLACEMENT DRONE IN UNDER 60 MINUTES!!!!! ANGELS YOU ARE LIFE SAVERS!!!
A Drone Was Destroyed… But It Saved 13 Soldiers!
A few days ago, Yael received this incredible message from one of the IDF commanders of a unit Terri's Angels supports:
A GREAT MIRACLE happened today. Terri's Angels had purchased a drone for our unit at our request. We didn't need one of the most expensive models, but it needed a special capability to fly into buildings, tunnels, and through windows and doors.
One of Terri's Angels delivered it a few weeks ago, and we've been using it ever since.
Today, our unit was preparing to enter what appeared to be an empty building to carry out a mission. To be certain it was empty, we sent the drone inside first. Within seconds, terrorists hiding inside shot down the drone and rushed outside, trying (unsuccessfully) to find the soldiers operating it!
Because of that drone, 13 soldiers were spared from walking into an ambush. The drone gave its life so that ours could be saved. Thank you, Terri's Angels!
The good news is that the unit still has the controller and all the supporting equipment. They only need a replacement drone aircraft. The cost to replace this life-saving drone is just $375. For only $375, we can put another drone back into the hands of these soldiers so they can continue carrying out missions safely and saving lives.
Thank you for standing with Israel's heroes!
This is exactly why these commander-requested drones matter.

New Auction!
We're excited to auction an authentic IDF tactical helmet (estimated value: $300), generously donated by Tactical Zone in Israel. Avi, one of Tactical Zone's partners, donated this helmet specifically for our "Cupcakes with Commanders" community event at the Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center in Commack.
During the event, Commander Raz wore this very helmet while filming our Terri's Angels video, “Standing with Israel's Heroes.” The helmet then became the highlight of our community photo booth, where children and families had the opportunity to try it on and take pictures and videos with Commander Raz and Commander Naftali!
After the event, Avi suggested auctioning the helmet to raise funds for IDF soldiers, and that he will donate another helmet for our event next year! Thank you, Avi!!
100% of the winning bid will help Commanders Raz & Naftali raise funds for a Mobile Drone & Communications Command Center for their Golani unit.

Medical Request
Terri's Angels Co-Founder Yael Levy spoke with an IDF major who serves in the Syria-Lebanon sector. He oversees the combat medics in northern Israel. He approached Yael to ask for help from Terri's Angels to purchase a Butterfly IQ3 - a handheld ultrasound device.
The Butterfly ultrasound, which is small enough to fit in a pocket, enables medics to identify quickly internal bleeding, collapsed lungs, fractures, and other life-threatening injuries on the battlefield - CRITICAL information that cannot be detected by the human-eye alone. Those precious minutes can mean the difference between life and death.
The major shared that he thought 5 soldiers who died in the past month might have survived had their medics been equipped with this technology. If this device can save even one life it is vital to get it into the medics.
The Israeli soldiers tell us what they need. We hope you will help us provide.
Donate via the SYJCC to the Terri's Angels Initiative. Scroll down and select "Dedicate this gift" and
specify "Butterfly Ultrasound" in the Honorarium field.
Please email us to let us know you have contributed to this major effort. Thank you!
Terri's Angels Israel Mission
The Terri's Angels Israel Mission is more than just a trip; it is a profound journey of solidarity and support. You will be making personal connections with IDF soldiers and the people supporting them.
From October 19–25, 2026, our community will travel to IDF bases and local centers to provide direct aid and deliver needed equipment. This mission focuses on delivering strategic and tactical equipment, funding morale-boosting BBQs, and addressing the daily living needs of those defending the Jewish homeland.
Our tour is 100% customized for Terri's Angels, giving you experiences not found on standard tours. We visit civilian emergency centers, IDF bases, volunteer with organizations providing food, education, and school supplies. In addition to the soul-uplifting volunteering you will have a chance to shop, dine and see historic sites.
Notes of Love is an initiative created to remind IDF soldiers that they are not forgotten and they are not alone. Inspired by seeing the powerful impact of handwritten messages on soldiers in Israel, Notes of Love began under Terri's Angels - Duffel Bags for Israel as a way for people of all ages to connect with IDF Soldiers.
